How Viewonda Works

A behind-the-scenes look at our video platform technology.

01

Upload

Upload MP4, MOV or WebM videos up to 95 MB. Your browser reads the video length and resolution and captures a thumbnail while the file uploads.

Videos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.

02

Publish

Your video is ready as soon as the upload finishes, with no processing queue. Add a title, description, tags and custom thumbnails, then publish or schedule it.

Videos up to 3 minutes long are automatically listed as Shorts.

03

Deliver

Videos stream from Cloudflare's global network close to every viewer, with instant seeking. Videos with HLS renditions adapt their quality to the viewer's connection.

The whole platform runs on Cloudflare Workers at the edge.

04

Discover

Your video appears in the feed, search results, and trending sections. Our recommendation algorithm surfaces content based on engagement, recency, and relevance.

Shorts (up to 3 minutes) appear in the dedicated vertical Shorts player.

05

Engage

Viewers can like, comment, share, and subscribe. Creators can track all engagement through the Creator Studio analytics dashboard.

Real-time view counts and engagement metrics help creators understand their audience.
